Yellow Jacket fans and Supporters: 

It has been a great season so far.  Our staff has been extremely pleased with the play and work ethic our players have displayed this year.  I am proud that the players have been rewarded by earning a trip to the state play-offs.  It is a testament to the hard work of the young men, coaches, and parents.  I am particularly pleased for our seniors who have really worked hard and have bought into the philosophy of our program.  They are a pleasure to work with on a daily basis. 

I hope the community is proud of the accomplishments of these young men.  They spend countless hours in striving to be the best.  It will always be a focus of our program that it provides an avenue for young men to grow into what Coach Criswell termed “a championship person”.  I know that the world judges success from the scoreboard, but, as coaches, we see the bigger picture of the impact of athletics on our young men.  I am proud of them in this regard.  I hope you continue to see a group of young men that you can be proud of in their representation of Denison.  Please come out and support them in the play-offs.
